Just saw HP-6. Before I start about how pathetic it was, let me give you a run-up to the time before we actually sat and watched the nightmare unfold. So much we did for one shitty movie! What a waste :(
We were all excited about the movie. Booked the tickets, like, 3 days in advance. It was the first time we booked tickets online,so we didn't know we had to collect tickets from the counter. I thought only the print out of the confirmation would do.
The show was scheduled to start at about 7:45 pm.
We reached the place at 7:40..Didn't want to miss any part of it so we (my sis and I) ran like maniacs all the way up to the fifth floor(which, on looking back now, was such a waste of energy! Gosh)
Finally reached the fifth floor..only to find the movie was delayed to start at 8:15.Waited till 8:10 and gave the print out to the security. He says,"This wont do.I need tickets!" Imagine our horror. We ran back downstairs all the way to the ground floor and took the tickets at the counter. And then ran back up. 8:15!
The movie hadn't started yet. Yay!
Ok now coming to how "awesome" the movie was..The beginning was good. The first 5 mins that is. After that we kept waiting and waiting for the actual story to begin. But no. The producers wanted to make some romantic movie. Simply only they named it "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". There was not even like,1/10th of the book in the movie.
What was the point then? You could've given it any other name. Atleast then people wouldn't be expecting any HP story, and they wouldn't have been so disappointed. Also, unless you have read the book, there is no way you would understand the movie. My parents and cousin didn't follow a thing. In fact, even we were left wondering many a times, "Which movie are we actually watching?!" It was horrible man! God, I am so disappointed and pissed off!
I hope they don't mess up the next movie like they messed this one.
