Birds and Bees.

Ok guys, some tips on general behavior around a girl. What NOT to do if you hope to be more than an acquaintance.
  1.  Asking a girl's friend to set You up on a date. If you're not man enough to ask directly, why bother? Unless she's gay. Even then I doubt it.
  2.  Everytime you see her talking to someone, you wanna butt in. Ok, that is fine. (Not really, but you can get away with that) But what is UNPARDONABLEe is you butting in everytime with the same 'joke': What is she troubling you with this time? (Or add some other sentence of your choice here) Get new jokes dude! OR wait for her sense of humour to change.
  3. Calling her a dangerous snack mix or something on similar lines hoping that'll impress(!) her. If this works for anyone, please check, it's probably one of your guy friends with a wig having a good laugh.
  4. Do NOT compliment a girl just for the heck of it. It is immediately noticed and all your attempts from that point on will go down the drain.
  5. Comparing her with another friend of yours (girl) Doesn't matter even if you are complimenting her. Never ever compare two girls!
  6. Do not lie. About anything.
Good luck! :)

Skiing

I went skiing some time back and it was a lot of fun the first two times I went up the hill. Then it started to get to me. Here's a couple of things to keep in mind if you want a longer, better skiing experience.

  • Do not wear jeans! Wear nylon pants or something that doesn't absorb water. Same with the jacket.
  • Wear waterproof gloves.
  • See to it that your boots are your size and not too tight. If you think there's something wrong with them, ask for help and get it checked.
  • When you rent boots and skiis and if you happen to exchange your shoes for another size, don't forget to change the screw settings of your skiis.
  • Try not to get snow inside you. Once that happens snow melts and that is the end of your skiing experience.
  • To slow down, your skiis should form an inverted 'V' .
The ski poles do not help you in anything except maintaining balance. They can't help you change the direction. Your feet and you do that!
  • Be prepared to FALL!! You will fall for sure, and it is part of the fun. So go ahead, enjoy!

Happy skiing :)
